A couple of weekends ago, my good friend Millie Poppins and I made the trek to NSW wine country to perform at an MS fundraiser in the Hunter Valley. Held at the Lindemans estate, the event boasted a Priscilla theme and we performed to over 250 generous people, willing to part with their cash for a silent auction and an amazing night of mentertainment matched with fabulous food and wine. It was lovely to see some friends there, and we made sure to stop at plenty of wineries and providores along the way there and back, hauling a sequined lizard costume and a dozen bottles of the best wine.

After just a few days recovery, I jumped into my little yellow bumblebee of a car and went north again to perform at Krave nightclub on the Central Coast. In addition to seeing so many regular patrons, and belting out 3 spot numbers, I had the honour of presenting awards to the committee members as part of the Mardi Gras wrap-up festivities. As I always say, the punters at Krave are such an appreciative crowd, and it’s always a pleasure to take to their stage.

Tonight I’ll be hosting the Midnight Shift along with the rest of the Glamazons and we’ll be raising a glass in memorial of our good friend David Hiscock who passed away a year ago today. I still miss him every time I walk into that DJ booth, but I ALWAYS get a smile on my face when I see Miss 3D’s astonishing cake depicting David standing there proudly alongside Frankie Shin.

In lighter news, we’re opening our new Wednesday show in roughly 3 weeks, so make sure you come down to the Shift to see the final weeks of Trixxx of the Trade!

She’s packed up her emotional baggage and headed to Melbourne for a couple of weeks, leaving room for a replacement on Wednesday nights while she’s gone!

After numerous try outs and auditions, Ripley Waters managed to score a spot for his sister in the show; So we’re only too pleased to announce the arrival of Serena Waters! She’s a n interesting girl, looking like a cross between Decoda Secret and Sascha Fierce, with a smile distinct to the Waters family. Speaking of Decoda, she gracefully removed her wig and heels and agreed to fill in for Ripley as our boy dancer. Decoda/David Olsen did an amazing job last night with the Glamazons and we can only hope you’ll come along next Wednesday night at the Midnight Shift to see the madness all over again!

This weekend I’ll be doing a solo road trip to Krave nightclub on the Central Coast to promote their float for Mardi Gras! With the theme of Kandy Kingdom, the sexy boys and girls of the coast are fiercely preparing their outfits for what is always one of Mardi Gras’ most eye-catching floats. You can catch me at Krave this Saturday night at the Grand Hotel Wyong, and probably at every McDonalds along the way!

I’d worked there plenty of times before, with superstars such as Shelley Legs Diamond and Barbra Bubbles, and the crowd are always one of the most appreciative I ever perform to. With a mission to show the coast how we party, the Glamazons and I packed up a mountain of drag, hauled it into my little car and trundled off to the Grand Hotel in Wyong.

We worked harder than ever, performing 5 spot numbers and the DIVA nominated Money, Success, Fame, Glamazons production show all in one set! Add Sydney’s 40 degree weather to the equation and you can imagine how we felt afterwards! At the end of the day, it was all worth it, as the crowd absolutely loved us. Krave is one of my favourite places to work at, with their manager Craig working tirelessly to give the Central Coast it’s only gay night. There are some photos on their way, and I’ll be sure to pop them up in due couse. The Glamazons and I hope to see those cute coastie kids again soon!

I’m super excited to announce that this Saturday 21st November, Millie, Ripley and I are making a special trip to the Grand Hotel in Wyong to perform at the central coast’s premier gay club Krave! We’ll ALL be doing spot numbers, along with a reprise of the DIVA nominated show Money, Success, Fame, Glamazons!

 We’re on stage at about midnight and there’s even a Facebook event with more details so you can make your own big gay road trip!

Hope to see you there as we take Krave by storm!
